Leg 4: Seoul, Korea to Bangkok, Thailand

5 hours, 30 minutes, 2,286 miles
We made it, we made it, we made it! Same type of plane (same movies too, blah) and similar seats as the last except the one next to us was occupied. Despite this, we both ended up snoozing for about 15-20 minutes this round because of sheer exhaustion. We did get a second (third? fourth?) wind by the time we landed--funny how that adrenaline kicks in. We got swept up in a wave of people heading out, breezed through the passport-checking line, and quickly found our baggage claim. Easy peasy.

Our hostel, Sukhumvit On-Nut Guesthouse, actually picked us up from the airport to bring us to our new (temporary) home. oh. em. gee--did that make things convenient. No need to haggle with the taxi drivers trying to grab us at the airport. It was a balmy 85°F when we got in, but the car and our room were readily cool for us. Still pretty excited, we didn't get to sleep until 1am. It really made it quite easy to get onto the right sleep schedule. I would have thought a 12 hour difference would have taken longer to adjust to.
Plenty of places to sleep!
This made us feel right at home.

We've got three nights here before I go to a different hotel for orientation and Jack finds another place to stay. I'm not sure exactly how long we'll be in Bangkok but we're sure going to enjoy it while we're here!

Next stop: Hang Chat, Lampang, Thailand!
